The gentle pillow-shaped tiled backsplash, softly glowing cabinets, and soft colors give the kitchen a sophisticated feel, and the stainless steel fixtures complement the modern aesthetics. The chalkboard wall is perfect for recording recipes, reminders, grocery lists, and kids’ drawings - a whimsical feature that’s both fun and functional. The galley kitchen tucks away from the main entertaining spaces, but the secondary eating area brings in plenty of light and lets the chef chat with guests. A smart layout aids maneuverability, while large windows at both ends of the home allow natural sunlight to pour in, reducing the need for constant artificial lighting. The windows were left undressed to allow structural emphasis on the cabinets’ architectural style and features.
