With a small window wall, the cabinet configuration was determined by where the window was placed and the visual affect walking into the house. To build similar sized cabinets around the window, the cabinets needed to be cut short on the range wall. With a small opening between the wall cabinets, plenty of space is left for the door swing to be uninhibited.
