Closet converted into a Custom Wine Cellar
The original closet had a standard 8 foot drywall ceiling. I first demoed the old drywall ceiling.Then I built a temporary scafold platform about 24 to 30 inches off the concrete floor.From the working platform I reframed the new barrel ceiling and installed all the brick and grout for the new vaulted barrel arch detail.
You will also notice that both the hand made oak wood beam have LED up lighting.The up lighting is controlled like all the other lighting in the cellar by its own dimmer switch controll!
