dining room design with colourful fabrics and beautiful lighting
We transformed this space into a stylish, multi-coloured dining room. Each dining chair is a different colour, surrounding a gloss white dining table finished in hotel-grade lacquer. The wide engineered oak boards and pale clay walls provide the neutral canvas. The lights were bought off the shelf, and we designed and made the small frames to separate the three cables to create a more stylish fitting. An original, but affordable painting adorns the chimney breast illuminated by a discrete wall-washer on the ceiling. The alcoves feature gloss white sideboards with small oval table lamps, and the colour-matched speaker grilles blend into the background. Similarly, the ceramic wall lights and painted in with the wall emulsion to help them disappear.
