Fire Cave Bath
This marvelous bath was carved out of the basement crawlpace of a Trinity Park bungalow. The blue rock you see in the pictures has a foundation pier of masonry built right on top of it (it is now concealed by the interior wall. We used a brightly colored Marmoleum floor and Plyboo counters to create warmth and hue in the room. A lift station (pump for wastewater) sits beneath an access panel in the floor. Acrylic block windows allow some natural light in, but prevent anyone viewing from outside as they walk along the foundation outside.
