Originally, the dining layout was too small for our clients needs. We reconfigured the space to allow for a larger dining table to entertain guests. Adding the layered lighting installation helped to define the longer space and bring organic flow and loose curves above the angular custom dining table. The door to the pantry is disguised by the wood paneling on the wall.

The dining room and hutch wall that opens to the kitchen and living room in a Mid Century modern home built by a student of Eichler. This Eichler inspired home was completely renovated and restored to meet current structural, electrical, and energy efficiency codes as it was in serious disrepair when purchased as well as numerous and various design elements being inconsistent with the original architectural intent of the house from subsequent remodels.

KrimsonHAUS
We made an awkward open space into a functional and sophisticated haven, uniquely blending mid-century charm with the essence of California living. Designed to harmoniously accommodate both playfulness and refined living, our client's vision was to create an inviting living space, a stylish dining area, and a fun-filled kid's play zone all within one cohesive layout.

Mirror Visuals
This 19th-century loft has been converted into a living space, panelled walls,
cast-iron columns and industrial-style glazing. Simple brick walls and concrete ceiling are preserved and restored, as are the original iron columns. These are complemented by new material finishes that include oak herringbone flooring, and white paintwork. Instead of opaque walls, industrial-style steel and glass partitions divide up rooms, therefore these allow plenty of light to enter, helping to give a light and airy feel to the interiors. Designed by Mirror Visuals.
Style Queen Interiors
The custom made storage in this dining room serves many purposes. The original space had a wall that completely blocked the view to the entrance. We created spaces on either side of the cabinetry to allow light to filter into the dining space and entice visitors into the home with a sneak peak of what is beyond the impressive entry and staircase.
The central cabinetry houses the owner's formal dining and glassware. The recessed strip lighting and bench space provides a functional and beautiful space to mix drinks, while keeping the moody soft lighting above the dining table. The mirror and metallic accessories, help reflect light and the striking artwork in the space.
The larger cabinets on each side hide solid brick structural columns that could not be moved in the renovation. The wood panelling conceals 4 tall cupboards that provide hanging space for school blazers and guests coats and discreet and accessible storage of school bags and shoes.
