Coburg Frieze is a purified design that questions what’s really needed. The interwar property was transformed into a long-term family home that celebrates lifestyle and connection to the owners’ much-loved garden. Prioritising quality over quantity, the crafted extension adds just 25sqm of meticulously considered space to our clients’ home, honouring Dieter Rams’ enduring philosophy of “less, but better”. We reprogrammed the original floorplan to marry each room with its best functional match – allowing an enhanced flow of the home, while liberating budget for the extension’s shared spaces. Though modestly proportioned, the new communal areas are smoothly functional, rich in materiality, and tailored to our clients’ passions. Shielding the house’s rear from harsh western sun, a covered deck creates a protected threshold space to encourage outdoor play and interaction with the garden. This charming home is big on the little things; creating considered spaces that have a positive effect on daily life.

Our expertly handcrafted in-frame shaker cabinetry with decorative mouldings – finished in Little Greene’s ‘slaked lime deep’ – is offset with mirrors and satin brass hardware to provide a touch of opulence to this elegant dressing room and adjoining master dressing table, with neo-classic and contemporary influences. Stunning bedside cabinets and designer radiators complete this wonderful project.

The most striking element is the recessed tray ceiling, which features a large, rectangular cove. Indirect Illumination: LED strips are concealed within the perimeter of the tray, washing the ceiling in a soft, golden glow. This creates a "halo" effect that makes the ceiling appear to float, adding significant visual height to the room. Highlighting Artistry: The warm light specifically draws the eye to the delicate, leaf-patterned mural or wallpaper inside the tray, giving the artwork a three-dimensional quality. Shadow Reduction: Because the light bounces off the ceiling before hitting the floor, it provides a very even, shadow-free base layer of light for the entire room.

Step into this bedroom in Exeter. For this transformation, the client wanted a fitted wardrobe system for their master bedroom, to enhance the organisation and breathe new life into the space. For this project, the Volante range was used, known for its sophisticated look with its sleek sliding doors. Stretching from floor to ceiling, the wardrobe not only maximises storage space but also exudes an aura of modern elegance. The chosen colour palette played a crucial role in enhancing the overall ambience, with a light beige tone adding warmth and tranquillity to the room. This wardrobe offers a seamless and organised storage solution, effectively eliminating the need for additional bulky furniture pieces. The interior of the fitted wardrobe is intelligently designed to accommodate various storage needs including a space to conceal the television when not in use, as one of the client’s specifications. Dans ce grand appartement de 105 m2, les fonctions étaient mal réparties. Notre intervention a permis de recréer l’ensemble des espaces, avec une entrée qui distribue l’ensemble des pièces de l’appartement. Dans la continuité de l’entrée, nous avons placé un WC invité ainsi que la salle de bain comprenant une buanderie, une double douche et un WC plus intime. Nous souhaitions accentuer la lumière naturelle grâce à une palette de blanc. Le marbre et les cabochons noirs amènent du contraste à l’ensemble. L’ancienne cuisine a été déplacée dans le séjour afin qu’elle soit de nouveau au centre de la vie de famille, laissant place à un grand bureau, bibliothèque. Le double séjour a été transformé pour en faire une seule pièce composée d’un séjour et d’une cuisine. La table à manger se trouvant entre la cuisine et le séjour. La nouvelle chambre parentale a été rétrécie au profit du dressing parental. La tête de lit a été dessinée d’un vert foret pour contraster avec le lit et jouir de ses ondes. Le parquet en chêne massif bâton rompu existant a été restauré tout en gardant certaines cicatrices qui apporte caractère et chaleur à l’appartement. Dans la salle de bain, la céramique traditionnelle dialogue avec du marbre de Carare C au sol pour une ambiance à la fois douce et lumineuse.
