We laid underfloor heating beneath the thick reclaimed flag stones, these retain heat really well and slowly release it through the day. We also installed an Aga, another source of heat, and just the perfect addition to any country kitchen, alongside an additional oven and 4 burner gas stove. The recessed panel cabinet doors in cream lighten the space and add to the traditional but fresh feel. The addition of the sky light lets light flood in and transforms and brightens the space.
