Originally there was one long shelf above the washer/dryer with a clothing rod the full length of the shelf. The shelf was way too high, and the rod way too long. So, we lowered the main shelf, shortened the rod, and added a lower shelf for easier reach of products. The room was painted and linoleum replaced with laminate flooring.
