To unify the room and feature the gorgeous hand blown glass platter, the fireplace surround and wall were finished in a trompe l'loeil travertine stone and tone into the faux finish bookcase cream and tan; the silk drapery trimmed with a complementary stripe fabric and several types of tassels adds elegance while the cane back chairs and woven shades add a touch of the tropics.
