Open Concept Kitchen With Traditional Elegance
Eventually everyone gets tired of the traditional oak cabinets and wood. It's an aesthetic consideration. However, living in cramped kitchen quarters with inadequate storage is not an aesthetic, it's about functionality—it's something you endure until it's time to breakthrough into the freedom of the open concept. That's what this remodel is all about.
This retired Maple Grove couple wanted, no needed a change in how their kitchen looked and functioned. Walled in on two sides, their kitchen screamed dated honey oak and limited storage. Most couples would opt for a white or grey color theme, but these homeowners wanted a more traditional, darker scheme.
