This is the wine cellar refrigeration unit compressor component, hidden away on a shelf in the garage. Keeping it outside of the wine cellar eliminates harmful noise and vibration among the wines.
Split systems are ideal in this way. They are also good for aesthetics, since they minimize equipment in the wine room.
The RM6600TE wine cooling unit was provided by US Cellar Systems. The evaporator was installed in the cellar, hidden in a wood cover grill box.
