Coburg Frieze is a purified design that questions what’s really needed. The interwar property was transformed into a long-term family home that celebrates lifestyle and connection to the owners’ much-loved garden. Prioritising quality over quantity, the crafted extension adds just 25sqm of meticulously considered space to our clients’ home, honouring Dieter Rams’ enduring philosophy of “less, but better”. We reprogrammed the original floorplan to marry each room with its best functional match – allowing an enhanced flow of the home, while liberating budget for the extension’s shared spaces. Though modestly proportioned, the new communal areas are smoothly functional, rich in materiality, and tailored to our clients’ passions. Shielding the house’s rear from harsh western sun, a covered deck creates a protected threshold space to encourage outdoor play and interaction with the garden. This charming home is big on the little things; creating considered spaces that have a positive effect on daily life.

À deux pas des jardins du Palais Royal, notre agence a eu le plaisir d’accompagner un couple et leurs quatre enfants, installés à Lille, dans la rénovation complète de leur pied-à-terre parisien. ? ? Le défi : redonner vie à un studio exigu niché sous les toits, en manque de lumière, tout en optimisant chaque recoin pour accueillir jusqu’à six couchages. Notre architecte Adélaïde Quenin a entièrement repensé l’organisation des lieux en imaginant une véritable pièce de vie avec cuisine ouverte, un coin salon astucieux doté d’une penderie sous-pente et de quatre couchages (canapé-lit + lit gigogne). Une verrière en acier blanc vient délicatement séparer l’espace nuit du séjour et offre au couple une zone intimiste avec dressing et accès direct à une salle d’eau compacte mais parfaitement fonctionnelle. Côté esthétique, des teintes claires et lumineuses ont été privilégiées, associées à des matières naturelles pour mettre en valeur les poutres apparentes, véritables atouts de ce charmant volume.

This listed Edwardian Townhouse near was fully designed and refurbished by Opsis Design. Converted from three residential flats in 1st, 2nd and 3rd floor along with a retail unit on ground and basement floor, to 4 one bedroom luxurious apartments for rental to young professionals and a restaurant on ground floor. New lacquered kitchens, oak floorboards, stylish patterned bathrooms, create a modern atmosphere while keeping inline with the heritage elements.

Strong white walls contrast with deep blue lacquered kitchen units. A white Carrara marble worktop and splash back adds a touch of traditional luxury. Waney edged open shelves display a mix of ceramics, cast iron pots, cookery books and large glass jars filled with pasta. Industrial wall lights complement a reclaimed oak parquet floor. Limited addition prints add splashes of bright colour. A large copper and glass pendant light hangs over a concrete dining table with mid-century inspired chairs.

Our client wanted a more relaxed feel in her contemporary kitchen and asked us to use a mix of tough interior plants in interesting pots of differing colours and textures.
