Cool mix of claddings
Cool cladding
Cool cladding
Could be a cool pottery studio, located somewhere on the property
Like the simple walk-way look, perhaps as connecting house to the area where the springs are
Like the roof line, wood elements against non-wood elements
Like the windows, multiple volumes for separate living areas
Too expensive...but a guy can dream, can't he?
Like this use of smaller windows to achieve a window-wall effect
Like achieving window wall feeling with doors
Love this look, but for the music studio or other elevated room (not living room...not enough privacy for Jen)
I like the Cinder block exterior look and it could be economical?
Cool farm house, built on a comparable slope
Am intrigued by the idea of multiple connected volumes
Very cool house (https://www.dwell.com/article/three-joined-cabins-turn-this-virginia-retreat-into-a-modern-take-on-camp-ec781049/6148270823922532352)
Cool window/door (too expensive, but still cool)
Kinda like the idea of a roof deck
Studio as separate volume
Like the porch roof & having both a covered and uncovered porch/sitting area
Cool house & breezeway...expensive!
like the corner balcony/porch with views in 2 directions
Love this window look; realize window walls are really expensive so interested in finding ways to simulate at a lower cost
I like the wood ceiling
Like this secondary volume & rooftop patio (and actually, the simple shape of the house as well)
Like having windows/nature on multiple sides
Like this porch concept
Like this room; full visibility to nature; like the materials too
Like the upper window bank; possibly cheaper than a window wall (having separate units...maybe some could open)
I like the windows below the roofline (and the roofline itself)
Like the windows & feel of this office area
Like the windows above eye level (good alternative due to Jen's aversion to window walls)
Love the elevated walk-way to this outdoor space at the canopy level
Roof line, in side of hill & outdoor social space
wood shiplap cladding
Cedar clapboard, contemporary look
Separate volumes connected by open space
Like the enclosed outer area (not sure if it would be hot/stagnant air); materials look inexpensive
Cool stairs, exposed beam
Fay Jones-y, just a bit more contemporary (love Fay Jones)
Cool storage solution
Cool stairs
Like the multi-level outdoor space
What if the front door to the house was actually the entrance to the dog-trot? Thereby, the dogtrot/screened in porch is like the mud-room; also allows for completely private entrance to the "other half" (studios, guest room, etc)
