1. Small Space Made to Look Larger - This bathroom, although not really 'small', uses the window outside to extend the room outwards, opening up the space.

2. Large Space Made to Look Smaller - Although this space has a lot of windows making the room appear bigger, the furniture they chose for the room is all solid and closed, which gives that aspect of compactness/making the room smaller.

3. Room Divided - This kitchen uses the island in the middle to split up the kitchen, having one part sort of like a dining room/ bar, and the other more of an actual kitchen.

4. Horizontal Line - In a lot of furniture here, horizontal lines are present. On the headboard of the bed, the bed frame itself, the small chairs at the end of the bed all incorporate horizontal lines.

5. Vertical Line - This bedroom uses more vertical lines than horizontal. The wall in the middle of the room holding up the TV with the fireplace underneath is designed to be taller, and the individual windows are designed to be taller, with the borders on the windows emphasizing this.

6. Diagonal Line - In this basement, a lot of the design choices are diagonal lines. From the bookshelf surrounding the TV, to the wall going up along the staircase, it uses various diagonal lines and designs.

7. Zigzag/Herringbone Line - This one was a little harder to find, in styles that I liked. The style that the floor is done in is very pleasing, paired with the different shades they use for the wood on each of the zig-zags.

8. Curved Line - The furniture in this dining room is heavily surrounded on curved lines. The chairs themselves have curved seats and the heads themselves are circles, the handing light (chandelier?) is also circular in style.

9. Light Apparent Weight - The main reason I chose this dining room as a light apparent weight, is because of the color scheme. It utilizes a light color scheme, and in combination with the furniture being 'hollow' and the window, gives off the effect of a light feeling for the room.

10. Heavy Apparent Weight - Like the last, this living room was chosen because of the color scheme. It uses more darker colors, while also having more closed off furniture, more 'solid'. It also uses rough textures to make the room feel heavier.

11. Texture that gives a "warm" feeling - This basement was chosen mainly off the walls. They look a lot more rugged compared to others, giving off the 'warm' feeling.

12. Texture that gives a "Cool" feeling - This closet was chosen for the smooth, not much tactile texture that's used for the various shelves. It looks very flat, and combined with the lighter colors, gives of a 'cool' feeling.

13. Positive & Negative Space - This closet was chosen for this because it uses the island in the middle to make the room seem more closed off and filled in, along with the decorations on the island, but it keeps the small cupboards open, to bring out the openness of the room.

14. Two Types of Line - This kitchen uses both Horizontal lines, in the tiles on the wall being much longer, and vertical lines, with things like the stove vent and the groups of cupboards.

15. Three Elements of Design - This bathroom uses a lot of design in it. It uses positive space by making the room very filled in with the various utilities and decorations, vertical lines because of the standing shower it uses, and a simultaneously rough texture with the brick wall, and smoother tile in the shower.
