Mehta - Great Room

I like the general layout of the room - a large sofa by the windows with another sofa facing the TV/fireplace and two chairs on the other side. I think that this kind of layout could work well for our great room.

I like the different shaded blue pillows with the beige colored sofa. I also like the sofa.

I like the idea of adding some items like the lanterns or plants around the fireplace and TV

I like the pop of color that the sofa adds to the more neutral room color. I also like the mix and match of colors between the different furniture pieces. I also like the slightly smaller coffee table to give room to move around

I like the accenting of the pillows against the furniture

I have this picture only because I think this is largely what our great room is going to look like (with the three french doors opening too the back porch and yard along with the recessed ceiling lighting in coffered ceiling. Location of the fireplace and book shelves will be the same as well and with virtually same look.
