concrete island?! M - I like it, AND the tile floor, but I don't know if it works with the wood floor we're doing...
shelving M - not sure we'd have a spot of this in the kitchen. What about in the laundry room? Or in the family room where the TV is now, after we move the TV above the fireplace?
