Base layout but expect that dividing wall would go much further back to wall so that my work surface could continue making this a more uniform room rather than 2 rooms joined together.

Layout - I think outside wall will look like this and island similar except longer. The door at the back would have top half glass panels and lead into utility room. Might also consider a new window to the right of the cooker.
