You hear horror stories about contractors who take money and then show up late, take forever once they do show up, and do mediocre work. Joe is the opposite of that. I kept trying to pay him once he started work, and he said "don't worry about it" for a while. It felt like we were building a house -- and in some sense we were, since we did a big addition with a slab, kitchen extension with a new crawl space, went down to the studs on the whole main floor, and replaced almost every window in the house -- but we were only out of the house from mid-July to Christmas Eve. (If you don't know, that means that Joe had people there every day -- something our neighbors told us was incredible.) And we're extremely happy with the work. If you have a big project, you should know that dealing with all of the tradesmen and suppliers once you start work (and the architect or designers before then) takes a very long time. Joe is a pro at that. If we ever move or have another big project, he'll be our first call.

The quality of work is top shelf and the service was terrific. We have used this company more than once with high marks across the board! The owner, Joe Lampasona, is a great person.

We did a large first floor renovation with an addition and Joe and his crew really brought our vision to life. Joe was great to work with and really addressed any and all concerns we had. He explained everything and even helped me with projects I took on myself. He stuck to our budget which was a huge concern in the wake of the supply chain issues. He never talked down to us and always explained what was going on and gave us realistic timelines. His guys were very professional and friendly and also did great work. We've been living in the renovation for about 10 months and haven't had any issues so far. I highly recommend advance renovations.

Joe and his teams are excellent. He manages the project from beginning to end. He communicates very well and there are no surprises. When glitches occur, which always happens in renovations, he solves. We had a full kitchen gutted to studs (and tore down walls to combine space with old office), primary bath and secondary bath done by Advanced Renovations. The work is beautiful! Highly recommend.

Joe Lampasona has been our contractor of choice since we purchased our current home in 2018. He and his crews did a complete demo and remodel of our kitchen and master bath in 2019 and a rebuild of our sunroom after storm damage in 2023. All of his skilled trades are polite and professional. Joe is very easy to work with and always has good alternatives to offer the client. Particularly noteworthy is his knowledge of cabinetry, woodworking and trim options for the project. He also works hard to ensure his timeline commitments are met. We will use Joe again for future projects.

Joe and Advanced Renovations completed a large project (master bedroom addition, multiple bathroom remodels, bar area, covered patio) for us in 2021 and we're extremely happy with both the results and our experience with Joe. We really appreciated Joe's straightforward approach and clear communication. Every large project has issues, but Joe handled them well and worked with us toward the best result. The project was completed on-time (6 months) and anything over budget was due to choices we made, not because of any surprises from Joe. Joe worked with us after the project to make sure any issues were addressed. Highly recommend Advanced Renovations!

Advanced Renovations completed our Finished Basement Project. Joe is great to work with and guided us with his professional experience when decisions needed to be made. He always texted me and showed up when he said he was going to and followed up on any questions or concerns we had. Our basement turned out AMAZING and we just LOVE it! Joe created a faux wood beam, beautiful three 4ft wide sliding barn doors and a gorgeous floating TV cabinet which are the jewels of this basement design. We are very happy with all of his carpentry work (extremely talented in carpentry) and our kitchen/bar is just incredible! He also completed a full bathroom and the tile work is top notch! We are very happy with the end result of this project and I would highly recommend Advanced Renovations.

Joe and his team did a great job on our bathroom. It was a complete renovation (tear down, new design, and build). Joe kept us updated on the project and gave us realistic timelines. The quality of the work is solid and something i have yet to see based on my past experiences. He and his team were courteous and willing to answer any questions we had. In addition, the suppliers he recommended were also great and easy to work with.

We interviewed multiple companies before deciding on Joe and Advanced Renovations to finish our basement. Joe was very helpful with ideas from his experiences that we incorporated into our design. Joe sent us updated expense tally throughout the entire process, so we had no surprises. The job was executed and completed on a timely basis and we were always kept aware of the progress, I would get a text or call telling me what time someone would be arriving the next day. His crew were courteous and professional, and left the work site clean at the end of each day. He listened to our input, and was very receptive to incorporating our ideas and designs. He was very easy to work with, and the quality of work was top notch. We found his proposal to be very flexible, and allowed us to select the cabinet manufacturer, and all other material required for the project. He met his quoted start and completion dates. My husband and I are pretty anal about knowing the comings and goings, so If there is one piece of constructive criticism we could add it would be that Joe could take a more proactive approach of notifying clients of his schedule of the upcoming work to be done. That being said, we would most definitely recommend Advanced Renovations to our family and friends for their home improvement needs.

If I could give Advanced Renovations 10⭐️, I would. Joe was absolutely the best contractor that I have ever worked with. He was honest, respectful, reliable and thoughtful. He came up with great ideas and not necessarily the most expensive. If he thought of a better idea he would recommend it but always did what we decided. The renovated master bath and the den that was turned into a huge walk-in closet is the showcase of our home. The people that worked for him on the project were the best. They were both respectful and courteous. Advanced Renovations could not have done a better job and the project turned out better than we could have ever imagined.

My husband and I wanted to get our bathroom renovated and Joe was highly recommended by a friend. From the moment Joe walked into our home, he was very professional and a visionary as to our wants. As a bonus, he was very conscientious of our budget. His work was done timely, as promised, and the job was completed the way we envisioned it. We enjoyed working with Joe so much that we used him again when we moved into our new home. with the outcome of our bathroom, we used him to help us renovate our new home. Once again, Joe did not disappoint my husband and I. The quality, creativity and Joe's attention to detail helped renovate our new home into everything we dreamed of! We plan on using Joe again in the near future, as we have him on speed dial.

Joe does beautiful work! We hired Joe to renovate our wet bar, which included complete tear our of existing, replace with cabinets which he custom made, including hanging wine glass accessory and custom glass inserts for the upper cabinets. Joe also framed and installed a custom leaded glass window panel in the bar area and tiled the bar floor. Such a beautiful addition to our home. We have received may compliments on it.

We asked Advanced Renovations to work on a medium-sized project for us turning our second floor 4 bedrooms and 2 jack-and-jill bathrooms into 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and a master suite. We knew what we wanted and how we wanted it to look but couldn't work out how to get the best out of the complicated space. From the very beginning, we felt as though Joe really cared about our home and family as if it were his own and it really was a collaborative partnership as we completely trusted Joe's tremendous experience with our 90-year-old home and he trusted us with the look. Joe did an exceptional job at designing the space in such a smart way that we just wouldn't have thought about. When we had challenges, as you do on any construction project, he always presented them with a solution and even a choice of solutions whenever he could. His team did a lovely job cleaning up every day (we lived in the house throughout the project), were very respectful at all times and Joe was present almost every day over the three months the project took, happy to walk us through with updates whenever we wanted. We had a couple of delays with construction materials being in short supply but we always felt updated and knew where we were in the project. There were no hidden costs and we knew exactly what the project was going to cost in full up front. The estimate was very reasonable and Joe kept us updated on numerous occasions on where we were in extra costs that we had either approved in advance or we had asked for so there were never any surprises. The final result is breathtaking. We've taken quite a few people around the 2nd-floor space and they've all been blown away by the attention to detail, quality of the work, and overall design. Joe went above and beyond for us and our expectations were exceeded beyond measure. We are incredibly grateful to Joe and can't wait to work with him again.

Advanced Renovations did a complete and timely job at my house. We had water damage to the Kitchen and basement. Both areas had to be gutted and completely redone. This job was during the holidays season and Joe did every thing he could to get it done and not interrupt our holidays . Every thing was done to our satisfaction and in a professional manner. I was very happy with the work and service provided by Advanced Renovations. I got an email, text or phone call each evening to tell me what to expect the following day. Sometimes there would be no activity for the day, but I was alerted to that also. He made some design suggestions I was very happy with stayed pretty close to the budget which pleased me. The people he sent to do some of the work were very good. They all cleaned up after themselves and made my life pretty easy for the 8 weeks they were around. I would hire them again in a minute!

We recently hired Joe Lampasona (Advanced Renovations) to finish our basement as well as do a few other projects around the house. We were very pleased with the entire experience and the output. Joe was closely involved in every step of the process from start to finish. He helped plan out exactly what we wanted and stayed within our desired budget. We felt Joe went above and beyond throughout the entire project. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience with building/ renovations and this was evident in the quality of work he does. He is innovative and on top of current trends/ styles. If there was ever an issue or road block along the way (which was rare) he would find a quick alternative solution. He communicated a timeline and stuck very closely to it. Also, him and his team of people were very considerate of the fact we had a 2 year old at home throughout the process, this meant a lot to us. We could not be happier with how our basement turned out. We have a full bathroom, bedroom, large rec area and quite a bit of storage down there. It truly looks like an extension of our main level and does not feel or look like a basement. Everyone who comes over raves about it. I discovered Advanced Renovations through a relative as I was looking to remodel my kitchen. I don't believe I could have found a better individual than I did in Joe as he listened to my needs for my kitchen and now I have the best kitchen ever. What impressed me was how quickly he progressed in what I was having done as walls were taken down and windows and door walls were moved and the individuals that came in were also of the same integrity. I did have another company beforeAdvanced Renovations offer to do little and ask for more, and I believe that this is the reason I was so impressed with Joe as he did the design and the work. I can't sing his praises enough as we had some small issues and he is right there not a week later or months, but immediately. I call and hours later I will receive a call back regarding my initial call. To give him less than excellent would be selling him short and that would be wrong. I have other issues with my home and I wouldn't even consider going with anyone else. I thank God that I found him.

Advanced Renovations installed interior trim-work around several of our archways, installed 3 suspended beams, crownmolding around a fireplace, and contracted some electrical work for us as well. Joe at Advanced Renovations was very good to work with. Joe and his team were very professional and were able to offer up many ideas and solutions that pertained to our project. We would use them again.

Joe's service was absolutely superb! If we could give him six stars, we would. He asked many questions to determine what we would like in our bathroom remodel, and was extremely helpful in finding materials to make it all come together. He even found an item that we'd been unable to locate. He not only met but exceeded all inspection requirements. He and his workers were all courteous, friendly and helpful. The project included changing the footprint of the room and it exceed our expectations. During the remodel, Joe taught us a lot by answering all our questions and explaining the reason for everything. We cannot begin to explain how wonderful the entire process was. We will definitely call him for our next project.

I hired Advanced Renovations to install crown molding on the first floor of my home! They did an outstanding job! They were professional, courteous and very timely. There pricing was so reasonable~cheaper than the other companies I received quotes from who claimed it would take upwards of one week to complete the project. The installation of my crown molding took less than 8 hours. I have already recommended Advanced Renovations to family and friends and will not hesitate to hire them for any/all of my future home projects. Give them a try~you won't be disappointed!!!

The rough and finished carpentry is super high quality, especially for the cost. The plumber pays very close attention to detail and even voluntarily redid work he wasn't satisfied with. The painters are meticulous and scheduled return visits to touch up any imperfections. I wish I would have used their tile setter as my own saved a few dollars but left me less than satisfied (cut some corners). My only gripe was with the quality of the electrical components and installation. But as an electrical engineer, perhsps my expectations are too high for what is common for residential installations. Overall, Joe is great to work with. He keeps a tight schedule, is primarily concerned with meeting customer expectations and finds every opportunity to suggest improvements and/or alternative ideas for both aesthetic and financial benefits to the customer. I wouldn't hesitate to refer Advanced Renovations to anyone seeking to complete any sort of remodeling project!

Joe did a beautiful job remodeling our bar and creating a custom-fit corner TV cabinet. He was easy to deal with, polite and did exactly what he promised. I definitely recommend Advanced Renovations.
