Vaughan Architects is currently using BIC Construction for a complex and full renovation of a 1950’s home in Mosman, which incorporates a contemporary rear addition and basement garage built on the boundary. We couldn’t be happier with our choice of builder. BIC has been extremely professional and well organised from the outset, providing detailed cost break downs, construction programs and invaluable advice pre-construction. The work by BIC, both on site and from their back office team, as well as their sub-contractors, has been of the highest standard. Most importantly, communication has been excellent. Every detail is executed as planned with precision, with value-add based on their wealth of knowledge and experience. Everyone we have worked with at BIC has been helpful and pleasant which is representative of the company's strong customer and work ethos. Building a house is stressful but it is much easier when the work is done in the form of a partnership with builders that you like and trust. We would highly recommend BIC!

Brad and the BIC team were recommended by our architect Fin - This was our first renovation of a Paddington terrace so unsure what surprises could be in store. Prior to the project kick off Brad was very patient, explaining the process and options. Brad, Scott, Jessie and the whole BIC team were knowledgeable, reliable, and client focussed, and provided options at key decision points. We regularly met to review build progress, as the plan took shape. We were aiming to maintain the period features, while modernising the structure. The renovation was a transformation, we had a specific vision for the aesthetic which was delivered as part of a collaborative process, underpinned with quality construction and finishes. The BIC team were great to work with, communicated with us regularly, and we really enjoyed collaborating with them through the process. My criteria of a good builder for my new build / renovation in Bellevue Hill was someone who would not only deliver an exceptional result with excellent attention to details but just as importantly , someone who has kept to the agreed cost of the contract as well as completion time of the job. I’m very pleased to say that now with the work completed , Brad and his team at BIC construction have met all those criteria ; honesty in their pricing , trustworthy and professional in their work .I added quite a few variations to my agreed project including an entire renovation of the rear swimming pool and its surround and Brad still managed to finish the work very much close to the completion time . One of my neighbours commented to me that the building team has been very considerate and respectful, not blocking their driveways or causing chaos in the area . My private independent building certifier twice commented to me that he thought Brad was a very good builder and he said he’s seen a lot of building works . I would therefore highly recommend BIC construction for anyone seeking to renovate or build .

Brad and his team at BIC Constructions recently completed one of our more challenging residential projects in Bellevue Hill. It involved deep piering and excavations to create, in part, two fully underground floors on a difficult sloping site. In spite of its complexity, the project was done within the nominated time and budget. Brad’s team and his subcontractors produced high quality workmanship and finishes throughout. Bic Construction (Brad Chapman) is our builder for our knockdown and rebuild project in Chatswood. The house is designed by Danny Broe Architect and Brad is appointed the builder via a competitive tender. The project is completed on time and on budget. The project has progressed smoothly and steadily throughout the build, a testament to the detailed architectural design and specifications by Danny, good team work between the builder and the architect, and excellent project management by the builder. For a project of this size, it is no surprise that there are a few cost variations. In the scheme of things the variations are relatively small and well managed. I find Brad is acting honestly, trustworthy and helpful. Brad is a good communicator and has a strong attention to details. In our many site meetings, Brad demonstrates a strong grasp of the technical details and the project progress, and make many suggestions on what and where to make improvements. Brad has a good team of tradesman who are skilled in their trade. We find some of the works to be of craft quality. We love the brick work, the internal joinery and the frieze work. The roof look amazing thanks to the Drone. We have received excellent comments from our neighbours on our foreman (Jesse) and his team, who turn up early each morning, working hard rain hail or shine. Jesse and his team is a professional bunch who take pride in their work. I like to thank Brad and his team for the great work. Our family is loving our house and find pleasure and joy living in a building which is well designed, well built and meet our everyday needs.

BIC Construction won the tender to construct the new pod and alteration for the house. From the start of the project Brad was helpful and pleasant to work with. He is solutions oriented and has a natural I stinct for good detailing. As Borg the architect and owner these traits are imperative to achieve not only a good build but a sleek architectural result. Program was a slight concern at times however that is endemic across the industry in Sydney at the moment but despite subcontractors letting him down he reached practical completion close to the original contract date. His own work was always timely. BIC is constructive and positive and a delight to work with and I will certainly invite them to tender on future projects with my firm.

I found Brad and his company BIC through Houzz and contacted him to see if he would be interested in providing a quote for our home renovation. Masterbed ensuite and upstairs and downstairs bathrooms were completely demolished and remodeled with high quality fittings/tiles/fixtures and LED lighting throughout. Project was completed within a tight 9 week schedule while house was unoccupied. Quality of materials and workmanship was first rate and BIC delivered on time with no budget over-runs.
