Bought a Renato Sofa from born in colours. After 2 months the chaise side become flattened. I feedbacked to customer service. Initially response was slow and after threatening to post review, they send someone to inspect the sofa. However, told me the standard answer that the sofa is like that one. Am disappointed with their standards.

I have adjusted my rating for this shop from 1 star to 4 stars. The shop did subsequently offer me a partial refund in cash instead of store credit. The shop remained contactable and all my feedback was promptly and completely addressed. On the whole I am satisfied with the outcome.

Offers a wide selection of nice designs ranging from vintage to industrial to even the quirky. However as some pieces are handmade/hand assembled, please be extra careful when taking delivery as products could come with slight imperfections. Would strongly suggest to reject delivery should even the most minor flaw is detected as the company warranty does not entertain on-site repair or bear subsequent delivery costs. The company is rather rigid on this point.

I like this dresser as the dimensions is just right for my room. The dresser acts as a desk as well which is what I am looking for. Besides that, the stool is another storage compartment which I like very much overall. I paired the dresser with another chest of drawers from another series. This goes to show that furniture of different style can be paired together - up to one's taste and preferences. Overall, I am pleased with the contemporary Scandinavian look!

I first chanced upon born in colour in houzz.com. I am a retro lover, loving how retro style can make a home warm and cosy. But there are not many choices in Singapore, especially with the price tag they carry. When I first went down to their showroom to take a look at their collections, then I understand how they bring the cost down - by making new pieces having the retro feel. That wasn't too much a compromise for me, as price is still a factor to my purchase. Now the pieces were already delivered, it made things really complete in my living room, with the latest purchase of the coffee table and tv console I got from them. I got the retro style I want, and it didn't burn a hole in my pocket. The overall experience from the sales staff in the showroom to the actual delivery was great.

I like cutesy stuff and this signature piece big bun from born in colour definitely caught my eye when I first step into their showroom. They have other sizes, the small bun and fat bun. i chose this piece for its practicality as it has two tier and a compartment within the bottom tier. I love the bow tie design that ties up the whole piece together.

The shop is a rare gem which had retro vintage furniture from Korea. I bought a dresser set which consists of the dresser with mirror and stool. The item quality and design wise is superb. I love the drawers which allows me to keep my stuff neat and tidy, The size of the dresser is just right for me. I would love to purchase more items from them in future and will be keeping a lookout for their new arrivals.
