Columbus Environmental is family owned and and has more than 25 years experience in the construction industry. Our owner, Neil Bookout, began working for the family painting business nearly 30 years ago and has since branched out to other areas in construction including roofing, basement/foundaton repair and waterproofing, commercial painting, and remodeling. After seeing an astonishing amount of mold issues in both residential and commercial buildings, and thoroughly researching companies that offered mold rememdiation services, he found that most used toxic chemicals to remediate the mold and high pressure systems to clean. He founded Columbus Environmental so that he could help home and commerical owners resolve problems with mold, dirt, and deterioration without destroying the surfaces or creating an unhealthy or toxic environment.
