This review is from our past client David and Adam... Hi to everyone at HomeStory, My brother and I would like to say how impressed that we have been by everyone at HomeStory. It was great from day one Justine coming out for the estimate and the great communication she kept throughout the job completion. David was great on coming out for the final measurements and the communication he also provided until job completion was excellent. Travis and Jake were totally awesome and the installation they provided was top notch and above and beyond our expectations. We would recommend HomeStory to everyone!!! You all have made our holiday season!!! Thank you and we appreciate all the work everyone put into our project.

No stars. I encourage you to read before deciding who to purchase doors from. I went to Homestory in July 2016 to purchase knotty pine exterior double French doors. They offered Simpson doors, but they would have to be special ordered since it's not a stocked item. Our agreement states knotty pine as the material and I was told knotty pine. I paid 50% down payment, over $2K. The installers arrived w/the doors Oct 2016 and the doors had matching knots. The installer informed me these were fir doors with knotty pine VENEER. Homestory never mentioned veneer and the agreement does not state veneer, only knotty pine as the material. I refused the doors and contacted the manuf Simpson, who asked for a pic. After they received a pic, they asked for the manuf code on the doors which I didn't have since Homestory had the doors. Homestory reordered the doors, or Simpson replaced at no cost to Homestory, and they assured me the doors would not match like the first set. The replacement doors arrived March 2017, and again the knots matched. I have emails from Homestory where they later admit the doors are veneer, and that they were "odd", but there's nothing they can do about it. Fast forward to today. The owner agreed to work with me, either accept the first set, second set, or take 1 door from each set. He said he'll hold the doors for one month. On the 31st day I emailed him and he informed me that he had already sold the second set and had a buyer for the first set. I now have no doors, and I'm out over $2K, plus they never returned the custom moulding I had made that was to be used with the doors. First pic is stained, 2nd pic is unfinished doors. Can they sell these doors to someone else AND keep my money?

Darrel, We hired them to do interior barn door in our house. They are the worst company I worked with for my doors. They were delayed and laid back people. Did not bother to reply to emails, once they got money they were not interested in actually DOING the job. Had to wait 3 months to get my barn doors installed, and I would never work with them.

Darrel and team were absolutely beyond all expectations. We did a kitchen and laundry remodel, and while we were at it, we also looked at replacing our doors. We have 23 doors in the house. HomeStory's bid including pricing, quality, options and service was by far the best we've experienced. We went with them, and they came in at our convenience, did the measurements, and then ordered and installed the doors all within a short period. It took them less than a day to install everything. No mess, no problems, no hassles, and every door worked perfectly. Two years later, the doors are perfect. It was by far the best part of our remodel experience. I would highly recommend HomeStory - professional, high value for the investment, excellence, bar none.

I had all of my interior and closet doors replaced (from hollow core to solid wood), as well as all new hardware. I am extremely pleased with the results.
