DeRita Woodworking is owned and operated by Marc DeRita, a lifelong resident of Marple Township and Newtown Square. In 1984, Marc graduated from The Williamson Free School of Mechanical Trades in cabinet-making. After graduation, Marc began taking commissions for a variety of projects involving his skills as both a woodworker and a cabinet maker. Later that same year, he formed DeRita Woodworking. DeRita Woodworking is a manufacturer of custom cabinetry. The shop is manned by Marc himself and a small staff of skilled woodworkers. Our work can be seen in homes, stores, and offices throughout the East Coast. DeRita Woodworking promises to deliver an exceptional custom cabinet, with a superior fit and finish, based on your unique style. Our completed products are delivered ready for installation. If needed, installation service can also be provided by our team of experts.

DeRita Woodworking provided us with exactly what we need for our unique 200 year old historic home. Their advise and experience were extremely helpful in all aspects of our cabinet requirements from the unique over-sized kitchen cabinets to the custom built-ins and bathroom vanities. I believe you would also be well served by allowing them the opportunity to transform your house into the kind of home you see on houzz.

DeRita Woodworking LLC did a wonderful job on the cabinets for our completely renovated kitchen. The craftsmanship is first class and the entire design process was very smooth and not complicated. I would highly recommend DeRita Woodworking for truly beautiful cabinetry.

It's always good to set goals prior to a construction project. It's even better when an individual surpasses your expectations. Our project consisted of a kitchen, three bathrooms, and a utility room needing new cabinetry. Marc DeRita's workmanship help make each room special. His pleasant temperament and eye for detail made the many hours spent in design more than worthwhile. All of his cabinetry was of quality work and delivered in a timely fashion. I would strongly recommend Marc for any custom cabinetry done in your home.

Just moved into my brand new house on the bay in Avalon, NJ!! My kitchen cabinets and all 9 of my bathroom vanities are absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! The quality and craftsmanship is top notch!!! Working with Marc and Chris was an absolute pleasure! =) They are two of the nicest guys that I have ever met and are knowledgeable and professional, as well! You will love anything that they make for you! =) I would recommend them to anyone.

I was referred to DeRita Woodworking from my builder. I could not be more pleased with the beautiful custom cabinetry Mark and his team created for our shore home. I had little experience in kitchen and bath design, yet Mark was patient, thorough and knowledgeable throughout the building process. Our cabinetry is beautiful and we could not be more pleased with the craftsmanship. Mark's work is one of the highlights of our new home. I highly recommend Derita Woodworking if you are looking for excellent quality cabinetry with a outstanding team to assist you. I will share pictures of our project in a future post.

I went to DeRita Woodworking with what I thought was an insane idea for blue kitchen cabinets. They knew exactly what I had in mind and made my dream a reality. When I came to see the cabinets prior to installation, I wanted to cry. The cabinets were even more spectacular than I had imagined. My milk painted cabinets (in soldier blue) are the centerpiece of not just my kitchen but of my home. Not only are they beautiful to see but are made exceptional well. I would not hesitate to recommend DeRita Woodworking for your home cabinetry.
