We hired Emily to completely remodel our kitchen from the studs out and we love the end result! We really didn't know what to do with the space and she turned our vague statement of 'this isn't working and we hate it' into an incredibly well thought out kitchen that utilizes the space so well that I'm blown away every time I step into our new kitchen. She listened to us ramble about the colors and styles we like and was able to incorporate it better than we had ever dreamed of. I'm so happy we hired Emily for our remodel and I will work with her again and recommend her to anyone that asks.

We moved into a new home and Emily helped us with our living room and a formal living room. She did a great job listening, taking feedback, and staying within budget. She took care of furniture and decor for both rooms. Having her opinion and only having to choose between a few items for each option was quite helpful. We love how everything came together. We greatly appreciate all of her help and look forward to working with her again in the future!

Emily is so easy to work with. She designed the remodel of my golf condo while I was living in another state. She communicated with me well and worked with the contractors on my behalf. Additionally, the design was something so much better than I had in my original vision for the project. Her ideas for the final product were far more creative than I could have come up with myself. Finally, she spent my money like it was her own coming in at the original budget we discussed. I highly recommend Emily.

We enjoyed working with Emily. She was a professional, upbeat partner and we valued all the expertise she brought to our various projects. Emily's computerized 3D renderings were tremendously helpful and reflected the results of our brainstorming sessions with her. For each project, she presented multiple options and she was very responsive, working with us to find good fits. She quickly grasped our tastes and intentions and came up with some great suggestions including ideas we hadn't thought of but that we loved. We would happily work with Emily again on future projects.

We were hoping to refresh our home’s interior but weren’t sure where to start since so many rooms would be touched. Emily provided a cohesive, well thought out plan with multiple options that included even the smallest details. I engaged Emily to help me with a new build. We had never built a house, and really didn't know what we were doing. She was just what we needed! Her construction background was invaluable because she has an innate sense of space and function. And, as a designer, she's brilliant. She listens well to her client's ideas and visions, and knows just how to work them into a finished project that conveys the look the client wants and functions well within the client's home. She helped us in so many ways, but her contacts and access to materials were probably the most valuable. I could express an idea and in an hour's time she would be back with me with the perfect solution. She's lovely to work with....patient, reliable, prompt and just a delightful partner in the building/design process.

In the process of making our new home our own, our decision to work with Emily has been one of my very favorite thus far! I was overwhelmed to decorate my new dining room from the ground up and hired Emily to provide remote design services for the space. I quickly went from being overwhelmed to feeling excited and enthusiastic about the process! Her expertise was crucial in making the space perfect for so many reasons! I have really enjoyed our calls - she is so personable and professional! She was able to zone in on our personal style but refine it to look both professionally designed and cohesive. She found the perfect pieces for the space. All of this itself would be enough for me to unequivocally recommend working with Emily, but her expertise with scale made her absolutely invaluable! She used the space in smart ways that really maximized the room and took it to the next level. I am already looking around my house trying to find another project so she can create another beautiful space for us!

Of all the design and construction professionals we’ve had to work with on our total home remodel, Emily Rudolph Designs was by far our favorite. Emily comes from a design background anchored by a knowledge of the build process, having grown up with family in the business. The wealth of knowledge she brought from that experience had us in excellent hands from the outset. Our project was sizable - we needed ERD to help us design interior spaces throughout a 2,000 sqft home. We purchased a gutted shell and planned a vastly updated interior with an entirely new layout on 2 floors. Add to that that we needed a designer to manage our remodel from 3,000 miles away in anticipation of a major relocation from California to Ohio. We interviewed 4 different designers, several with larger portfolios and all with impressive bodies of work. Emily really stood out for us with her sophisticated but approachable designs, a personable working style and relentless work ethic. We couldn’t have made a better decision. Emily listened to our needs and never missed a detail when helping realize our vision. She has a truly fresh and warm design sensibility which we loved. But Emily was able to perfectly tailor our home aesthetic to speak to our own unique preferences while keeping rooms cohesive and inviting. She brought us ideas for special touches and really helped us focus where we could make the most with simple, thoughtful changes. Our aesthetic skews to more modern and Emily perfectly meshed her own vision with touches that were purely “us”. She wasn’t afraid to offer her opinion and steer us when we needed a little more guidance. She was an advocate for us on the project from day one, working with our contractor for routine progress checks and keeping our vision on track. Emily was our rock throughout a very long process and our home is exactly what we asked for: “well planned spaces, using quality materials and thoughtful touches to give the home a luxurious, ‘I wish I lived there’ feel.” For scope, Emily completed for us: custom kitchen design & open concept living room furnishings, fireplace design, 3 complete bathroom designs including custom designed vanities, Master Bed/Bath planning, all interior lighting & fixtures, laundry/craft room with custom cabinet layout, mudroom with custom cabinet/cubby/bench layout, wallpaper selection, paint color selection, all interior trim, hardware, appliance & finish selections. She tackled everything with meticulous attention to detail and extremely thorough follow through. We are beyond happy in our all new home!
