Our industrial conference table brought a young, chic style to a worn-out office. The nearby desk is now clear and organized to match the professional look of the table. The matching stain on the chair bottoms were a great choice too. They may advertise 4 chairs for this 48" table but we can seat 6. No worries with coffee rings or scratches from the tough roustabouts that come in our office. This table can take it! We even saw one guy stroking the tabletop while meeting with management. Now THAT'S an unspoken compliment

This shop made me a custom wood piece for my kitchen. The cut of live edge wood is absolutely gorgeous and they nailed my vision I had in mind. Super easy to work with and made this piece quickly for me!! Great communication throughout the process as it was all over email. Never went into the shop until pickup

I hired Taylor for a special order to have a gas range cover made for my island, because I saw the idea on Pinterest and realized I didn’t want to keep looking at my stove top in the middle of my beautiful island. Well Taylor did not disappoint!! I absolutely LOVE my cover! This is my second one made, only because my first one was too heavy which was my fault because I wanted a specific wood. So we went back and decided on a lighter weight wood and darker color which makes it just pop on my island...and I could not be happier with what he built for me! If you want something unique, well made, not to mention American made and something beautiful to add to your home then Taylor, The Little Wooden Penguin is your man!!!!! And I’m already planning on my next project of what I want for him to build me next!

I was in need of a large dining room set to accommodate our family get togethers. I was in the process of changing my decor to more of a country style. After visiting several different furniture companies as well as other vendors, I was not happy with any of the selections, and then I stumbled upon The Little Wooden Penguin while at McKinney Trades Day. I was so blown away by all their options and their great willingness to work with me on all the different details I was wanting to incorporate. In fact, I was so pleased by the results that I went back to get a smaller version for my kitchen table. Still country style, but a little different and just as exceptional! They do an amazing job and I am so pleased with the results. Next item I am looking forward to in the future will be an entertainment style cabinet (country style) that I have been talking with them about. You cannot go wrong with Little Wooden Penguin ... I highly recommend me them!

Katie was so courteous and professional. The farmhouse table, reclaimed chairs and bench could not be more beautiful & she took the time to recover the chairs to match my colors. I was kept informed as to the progress and the delivery was fast and easy. I looked at many tables but the ones they build are such high quality and the craftsmanship is topnotch. Well worth the money and is the perfect table for my home.

When we began renovating our kitchen, I knew I wanted a really special table. I wanted it to be counter height and basically twice as big as our last table. Nobody made one that size that I liked. I talked to Taylor and Katie about making us one and they gave me options and their opinions and a quote and they started making our table and two benches. Taylor reinforced the bases with steel, since they were so big. It’s all very sturdy. It is huge and so beautiful! I feel like this is the one piece of furniture that we own that our kids will fight over one day. Working with Little Wooden Penguin was a breeze and such a pleasant experience. Five stars for Taylor at Little Wooden Penguin! He does amazing work! He built us a 7' farmhouse trestle table after I admired the one (4 turned legs) he crafted for my sister. It's perfect, beautifully painted and distressed. He talked color with us and distressed it with different colors under it that showed through. He had chairs for us to chose from that complimented the two arm chairs we already had. This table is going to last much longer than we do. Maybe my grandkids will sit around it with my great grands some day.

My wife and I stumbled across Little Wooden Penguin at Third Monday Trade Days in McKinney when we were looking for a kitchen table. We immediately knew after looking at their work and attention to detail, that LWP was the exact people we wanted to do business with! We absolutely loved the table sets that they made, but we wanted it done a little differently then the one they had for sale. No problem! They custom made the table to our exact specifications and it came out amazing! They communicated with us through the whole process and always were available if I had any questions. We loved their work so much we had the restore a hope chest that we had and that came out amazing as well! I can't wait till we get our next project started with them.

Little Wooden Penguin was an amazing company to work with! We saw a table they already made that we were in love with but it was too big. They worked up a customs quote and made a table that perfectly fits our dinning room and our style! All the way down to tiny details of chair backs, width, and how much they seat flared out. Couldn’t be more happy with our experience and the employees!! 10/10!

I have ordered two pieces from Little Wooden Penguin. Most recently a custom made serving tray which I absolutely love. I told them to be as creative as they wanted - and what they came back with - was awesome. It was made on time and I couldn't be happier. Would highly recommend these folks!
