Shades of Marin has been providing window coverings for my family for over 30 years. They have always been helpful, prompt, and sold quality products. They recently installed Hunter Douglas Duette Architella honeycomb shades in our family room. The shades include the features of top down bottom up and Literise cordless lift system. We love them. I highly recommend Shades of Marin.

Sean, of Shades of Marin, was a perfectionist. The project was for sliders and oversized windows. We selected q motion motorized shades and used a double tract with black out and 5% privacy shades. Hunter Douglass blinds, with hand power lift was used for the oversized windows. Sean came out during construction and made suggestions to the contractor that insured the window coverings would work, and they did!

Shades of Marin installed two exterior shades in 2017 which worked perfectly. Installation was timely and efficient. We expereinced a slight problem in 2018 and they were quick to respond to our request for assistance. In turns out the problem was a warranty issue which they quickly acknowledged and acted on. We have used Shades of Marin for many years and recommend them highly.

These guys did a large commercial project for me and did an excellent job! They gave a quick estimate and showed up when they said they would and finished when they said they would. That works for me every time.

The project that we did in San Rafael included the entire home. Eric and his staff were very professional and knowledgable . Because I am not living in our new home full time yet I trusted Eric and his staff to complete the job with out me. Eric helped me choose the product and the style that would best suit our home. He also was very good at helping pick the best color to use in each room. I was very pleased with the end result.

We ordered electrically operated solar and privacy shades, curtains, cellular and manually operated privacy shades from Shades of Marin for our ~2500 square foot home that has a lot of windows. There were a few windows that were oversized and corners without a frame which made the installation of both solar and privacy shades very difficult. The owner of Shades of Marin worked directly with our site construction supervisor in developing the solutions to the highly constrained situations. The quality of the work was superb. They met their commitments and delivered on time. In addition, we appreciated the whole team that worked with us. The woman who manages the office was well informed on the options we had and also helped to keep everyone to meet their commitments. The installation crew was professional and punctual. We are very busy people and we appreciated how they respected our time. When there was an issue with one of the shades, they came out to our house immediately and replaced the troubled motor. We highly recommend this store for any window treatment project. We generally do not write online reviews but we decided to do so because this is one of those stores that everyone should know about.

Completed project on time. Delight to work with and was respectful of our house! The did everything from production, to installation to electrical for the remotes. They also did our outdoor awning which is beautiful. They know the latest in technology!

Very pleased with their products and service. We replaced the window and French door treatments in our guest room. Shutters on the windows and Roman shades on the doors. They actually saved me money by recommending a different shade, while keeping the same look as the more expensive shade. Would definitely use them again.
