We hired Twin Lions in 2020, with the criteria of commitment to industry best practices, strong attention to detail, and professionalism. The company and the staff were very knowledgeable, skilled, and dedicated to quality and efficiency. They worked through some tough technical items with exceptional quality. We also valued the transparency in costs and their flexibility, which not all contractors can support. We were pleased with the results of the work.

Twin Lions transformed a fixer upper into our dream home! Initially we were impressed with Kevin and the team's detailed quoting process. Even though Twin Lions had one of the higher project estimates of the contractors that we interviewed, we felt it was the most well researched and accurate. Then Ben’s team took over on the 8-month renovation. Robbie, our project manager, was amazing to work with. He was approachable, professional, and organized, which went a long way towards helping us feel at ease during a stressful time. We appreciated the regular site visits, transparent scheduling, and budget updates that gave us visibility into what was happening throughout the project. You can tell how much Robbie and the team care about their clients, their colleagues, and the quality of their work. Once the renovation was complete, Twin Lions stands behind their warranty. We did have a few deficiencies, but Robbie made sure that everything was resolved to our satisfaction. We never had any pushback, even on things that we did not notice right away. We definitely plan to use Twin Lions again in the future, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an amazing contractor in North Vancouver. We get compliments all the time on our home, and couldn’t be happier.

Twin Lions did an excellent job on our renovation. We did a full exterior renovation including windows and doors. Inside we did 3 bathrooms and a walk in closet and master bedroom Reno. We lived in the home throughout the project. The communication was excellent and we met regularly with our Project Manager, Robbie who kept us informed throughout the project. The Twin Lions team who worked in our home were professional, respectful and did great work. We miss having them around! Overall, we are thrilled with our results and would recommend them without hesitation.

Twin Lions is amazing- from connecting us with a designer that was perfect for us (Onida Garner and we were on the same page for the redesign almost 100%!) to navigating tricky strata and city requirements and making challenging remodels happen! We wanted a third bathroom and they were able to make that happen with an X-ray machine and an experienced plumber with deft hands. Glen and Sam were always on hand for any questions. The place was left clean and tidy after each work day. Even the neighbors were happy. And the finished product is high quality, and beautiful! If I had to renovate again they’d be the one I’d call.

Never having done a renovation before, we nervously entered into a contract with Twin Lions. Our worries turned out to be unwarranted. With Robbie as project manager there were no big surprises, and the small ones were taken care of professionally. The first questions our friends ask when they see the changes to our home are who was your contractor, and how were they to deal with. We have nothing but positive comments to pass on to them. All the people we dealt with at Twin Lions were polite, helpful, and above all patient. We had lots of questions and often hovered around the fringes of the project. Our questions were always answered and we never felt unwelcome on the site. The billing procedures were detailed and consistent, and again, our many questions were always satisfactorily answered. If we ever do any more renovations, Twin Lions will be our first choice.

We worked with Twin Lions on our Cortez Project. They are a lovely team to work with. I find they are reliable, team players, organized, honest and most importantly do great work, know how to manage a budget and client expectations. I would highly suggest them to anyway who needs a great team to do a renovation or build a house.

We are very pleased to recommend Twin Lions Construction Limited as an exceptional company. We recently completed a full home renovation of our 1960’s era house. After meeting to discuss the scope of our project, Twin Lions introduced us to our architect, who was similarly outstanding. Twin Lions took our house down to the studs, built some creative extensions, and installed a scissor truss roof structure to enable opening up the main living space and vaulting the ceiling. The end result is a spectacular brand new and very functional home, with excellent cabinetry work done by Millwerks, a TL affiliate. We are thrilled with the transformation. With thoughtful project management by Glen and the support of managing partners Kevin and Ben throughout the course of construction, the Twin Lions crew and administrative staff are a talented, motivated, and well-integrated team. Employee relationships are incredible, as are those with the sub-trades and suppliers. Our neighbours commented very favourably on the professionalism shown on-site. Importantly, the TL billing and accounting process is fully transparent, timely, accurate and easy to understand. Communication was first rate and decisions were collaborative, with regularly scheduled on-site meetings. Despite inclement weather and Covid protocols, Glen kept the project moving forward in timely fashion. It was quite an accomplishment. Thank you to everyone at Twin Lions for building our dream home. Cathy and Jay Our first project with Twin Lions was in 2015 at which time they completely transformed our 25 year home into one in tune with 21st century expectations. The clearly delineated rooms (at different floor levels) became one open flowing space with much enlarged windows hence much more light. We loved it then and we still love it today. In summer of 2020, we began to contemplate the upgrading of our 2 bedroom basement suite. It was the only portion of our home that still looked like 1990! As a result of our excellent previous experience with Twin Lions, we went straight to them without even considering another contractor. We were not disappointed. Results were fantastic. Scheduled completion date was achieved, Total cost was within 2% of target. We were kept very well informed over the course of the project with regular updates on timing, cost changes, etc. - so no surprises. What more can you ask. All this was done while working under COVID restrictions. I would highly recommend them for the quality of both their work and their team.

Kevin and the team from Twin Lions ensured that everything was to our standard when they delivered our newly renovated home. We are happy with how everything turned out. Kevin made sure that all our concerns were addressed during and after the project. We are excited to make many more memories in our new home. Twin Lions has completed 2 projects with us. A full rebuild of our post and beam house in North Vancouver and a high end office renovation in Gastown. They're great problem solvers with a true understanding of design and have fantastic communication. Would definitely do a third project with them if the opportunity arises.

I live in Montreal and my condo is in North Vancouver. So, I took a leap of faith when I signed with Twin Lions to renovate my condo. And little did I know that we would be hit with a worldwide pandemic. Despite Strata challenges, line-ups, delivery delays, social-distancing, disinfecting, etc. — not to mention keeping their families safe — Twin Lions kept on trucking. The crew kept me up to date with emails and FaceTime’s so I could see the progress. There were no surprises, including budget. The crew was professional, respectful of my requests, and gave huge attention to detail. The end result was a stellar renovation, thank you Twin Lions!
