Horrible customer service. After troubleshooting with the manufacturer I was given an RMA for the defective product. Unfortunately, i then had to use Woodland to process the return to the manufacturer. They do not answer emails and kept sending me automated emails that they were working on it. Still not redolved. Don't use them.

Stay away. Product was received damaged and they will not take it back. The worst customer service experience ever. They are fine in pre sales. But don’t be deceived. They are awful after the sale.

Never buy anything from them. Products’ are defective and their customer support is a joke. We bought a brand new fireplace and a blower both are kit working. After multiple attempted they stated they will mail us a. New valve and we will have to find someone to replace it. Stay clear and shop local

Awful company to deal with. Will never buy anything from them again. Purchased an expensive cover for our fire bowls. Covers didn’t even have a tie that would fasten. Refused a return as it was outside 30 days- hadn’t thought to “try them on” when I received them- just kept them in the box til I was ready to pack everything up for the winter. Covers were $200 apiece and sales person repeatedly assured me these were worth the extra money and far superior to lesser priced options. Don’t believe anything these sales people tell you. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY !!!

I ordered a built in electric fireplace. I received it and stored it for 3 months until it was ready to install. The exterior of the box was in perfect shape. When we opened for install and removed the 150 lb. fireplace - the bottom left corner was damaged and the firebox was distorted and could it not be installed. The glass front was no longer wrapped and parts were missing. It had clearly been repackaged. We had to move forward without it - we wasted almost $3,000 with no refund. DO NOT ORDER FROM WOODLAND DIRECT.

This is the first review I have ever gone out of my way to write about a company. It has been incredibly painful experience and felt the need to share. We ordered from them back in august. Provided the measurements and were assured it would fit our system. Paid someone 300 dollars to come out and install. It did not in fact fit. Sent emails, called left messages, no responses. If they did respond action was never taken. We were assured we'd get the new item in time for the holidays. Finally got a hold of them when it was coming up. Order never got submitted even though we were assured by multiple people. Finally received 6 months later our second fire ball set. They ordered the wrong color. We had to return again another very painful experience. Then third times a charm- again after weeks of us following up finally re ordered the right system. Just had someone come out (another 300) for them to tell us the item was faulty. 9 months later- no resolution, no action, no apologies, and 600 dollars poorer than we started from originally (again no offer for discount based on monies spent to their mistakes). I work in customer service and very understanding of our current environment. My husband and I have had to take turns following up and sitting on hold because it has taken up SO MANY HOURS out of our life to try to get this resolved. There is still no resolution- we have been told now after calling again to submit an email request. Save yourself the headache not worth it. Better products and service elsewhere

I was charged $ 1,100 in November '21 for a fireplace part. I waited 4 months for the part to finally arrive 2 weeks ago. However, the part was NOT new. It clearly had been used as it was scratched, bent, and all the boxes opened and rotted. I have repeatedly emailed customer service for over 2 weeks, but they have not responded.

Horrible customer service, missing order. Their system shows shipped and delivered. They sent lava rocks, I’m missing my whole fireplace. No help, no return phone calls or emails. Avoid at all costs.

I would give zero stars if I could. My order said it would ship in 2-3 days, and it has been two months. I called a representative and they told me to call back in July! If they didn't have the item in stock, they should've written: "sold out". I do not recommend Woodland Direct. I canceled my order after 2 months of paying interest and receiving false promises.
