“We interviewed several firms for our 3-story home addition. We chose Nugent for a few reasons. One, they don't beat around the bush. They are honest and work hard to stay within budget. In fact, we have several meetings before any type decision was made or money was exchanged to be sure the project could be done to both parties satisfaction. Two, as a design/build firm, it was so much easier to keep track of who is in charge of what and where accountability is. There's only one person managing your project... so it is super easy with Nugent to get answers and attention. Three, Alex, Nick, John and the entire Nugent team are so patient and talk to homeowners like equals. There weren't any terms that were over my head, and the design team was so good about walking us through every little step so that we were comfortable. Four, they got the job done on time and within the timeframe they quoted us for. These guys really know what they are doing. I can't wait to build my next house with them! I will say that Nugent is not the cheapest design build firm. But their craftsmanship is great, and they stand by their work. We look forward to our one-year check in with them!”

“Mr. Buckler was so helpful designing plans for my new house. I have zero experience and he offered me choices so that I could design my dream home. In some areas he recommended ideas that would never occur to me, until it was too late, so that I could include in the house plan. He worked under a tight schedule and delivered on time. “Jeff is a gifted architect. His sense of proportion, light and color is outstanding. I love the unique details that have given our home distinctive character and charm. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the local architectural vernacular styles of our area and that informs his work in a soulful way. Jeff was also great with developing a narrative that guided us in our vision and reigned us in when we faced too many choices. Jeff designed our original shingle style home in 1993 which I am happy to say seems timeless in it's clean, open design. He then did the design of our significant remodel of kitchen, family room in 2015.”

“We had an excellent experience with Patrick Carter and his company, REVE Design. Patrick helped us with a major kitchen renovation, giving us multiple options of varied scope to consider. His input greatly helped us come to a decision on what option would work best for us, taking into account our existing house, the cost of each option, and the time each would take to complete. Patrick also gave us good advice and recommendations regarding contractors, cabinetry, windows, flooring, etc. As we enjoy our new kitchen, we are grateful that we had Patrick's expert advice along the way. His input added so much value to the end result, which works not only aesthetically and functionally, but also has a great use of natural light and a greatly enhanced flow of the entire first floor.”

Kris is inventive, patient, and saavy about design, construction and all the rules & regs of getting the job done. I can't recommend Studio 50 Design highly enough -- give them a go with your next project and you'll be glad you did!”
