How to handle edge of glass when using tile with raised profile?

I love your use of the grey & black accent tile! Since the black tile has a raised profile (& possibly the grey too - a bit hard to tell in the pictures), did you have to get the shower glass cut to match that profile? Or is it better to have the trim tile installed with a gap into which the glass is inserted? Advice on how to achieve this lovely look would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

    The glass is custom fit to fit tightly to the tile but is cut in a straight line, not scribed to the tile. After the glass is installed, the gap is caulked with clear siicone.
