Bae Lan House
This traditionally styled water-side house had been unchanged for most of the last century, and needed a lot of maintenance and careful updating to become home for a family of five. Zoning variances were required for work on this tight lot.
The front door was moved to the street side of the house, the kitchen renovated, a garage and studio added, and the porches repaired. Upstairs a Master Suite was created and baths and bedrooms updated. Sometimes the most successful remodeling results in an “unchanged” appearance!
