This Contemporary Front Entryway, DbyD-5138, was custom designed along with numerous other Contemporary Interior and Exterior Wood Doors for this home in Culman, Alabama. The front entry is composed of a pair of 36" X 13 Foot Tall Radius Top Mahogany Doors and 2 - 30" X 96" Radius Top Mahogany Sidelites that kill into the doors. All of the doors and leaded stained glass for this home were designed, built, stained and finished, pre-hung in mahogany jambs and installed by Doors by Decora. The customer was so excited about our design for this front entry that he had the roof of the house raised 24" to accommodate the design. This required not only raising the roof but reworking all the interior and exterior walls. The Leaded Stained Glass designed by us for the front entryway, interior doors, cabinets as well as all the other doors in the house have a lot of circles including roundels and often bright colors and are very Art Nouveau. Some of the glass designs were repeated in this customers Condo in Gulf Shores, Alabama. We had his hardware custom made to our specifications by Rocky Mountain Hardware.
