Classic French Normandy Style Kitchen
The clients decided to create a kitchen that blended better with the period style of the house. There were walls that we took down, and, there were posts that had to remain. We got rid of the large angled island that had been designed previously, and, determined that we could fit two islands in this space. As far as function, this worked perfectly with the main sink on the outer island, facing the wall of windows and the breakfast stools. The center island is perfect for additional work space, uninterrupted by a sink or any other countertop appliance. The prep sink fit perfectly on the back wall under the window to the right of the range.
