Real Interior NZThe clients came to me with a full renovation where they were creating a large open space for the kitchen, living and dining. The main aspiration was to create a kitchen that was visually interesting, using full availability of the space, but still in keeping with the client’s own personality and flair. Their kitchen needed to be a work of art and still have a comfortable feel for family living.
The most important aspect was that my clients are family orientated they spend much of their free time in their home and enjoy entertaining. So it was also important to have a place that guests can sit around to chat during food preparation and for the children to do homework.
Another important aspect was creating a kitchen that is visually interesting which is achieved by the use of clean linear lines, White hi gloss surfaces with Zebrano Veneer added for interest.
The kitchen was positioned with the island facing the main outdoor area to view the homes distinctive sea views but it is also perpendicular with a smaller more intimate outdoor area where the barbeques are located. It also allows the much needed natural light coming to rebound of the glass and hi-gloss surfaces, creating a sense of extra light and space.
By using these aspects it has turned the space into a fully functional and practical kitchen. A good working relationship and constant communication with the client is what was needed to enable this project to be successful.

Classic Cabinets & DesignThis gorgeous remodel is one of our team's favorites! The clients were incredible to work with, had beautiful taste, and made us laugh every step of the way. This was a project we were sad to see end. The details of this space are were planned over many many months and it really paid off! Just look at the amount of organized storage that is hidden behind those intricate cabinet doors! Every cabinet in this kitchen was custom designed and built to meet our homeowner's dreams and desires. Even the hunt for the perfect slab of granite to finish off her "statement island" was a labor of love! We absolutely adore this family and are so happy to give them their ultimate entertaining kitchen!!!

Discover the cuisine, wines and history of the Basilicata region at the luxurious Palazzo Margherita. Set in the village of Bernalda, the well-preserved villa is close to the region’s white-sand beaches and the famed Sassi caves. The property was recently renovated by the Coppola family with decorator Jacques Grange, imbuing its luxurious traditional interiors with modern style.
Start each day of your stay with an included breakfast, then head out to read in the courtyard garden, lounge under an umbrella on the terrace by the pool or sip a mimosa at the al-fresco bar. Have dinner at one of the outdoor tables, then finish the evening in the media room. The property also has its own restaurant and bar, which are open to the public but separate from the house.
Traditional architecture, lush gardens and a few modern furnishings give the villa the feel of a grand old estate brought back to life. In the media room, a vaulted ceiling with ornate moldings speaks to the home’s past, while striped wallpaper in neutral tones is a subtly contemporary touch. The eat-in kitchen has a dramatically arched Kronos stone ceiling and a long, welcoming table with bistro-style chairs.
The nine suite-style bedrooms are each decorated with their own scheme and each have en-suite bathrooms, creating private retreats within the palazzo. There are three bedrooms with queen beds on the garden level; all three have garden access and one has a sitting area. Upstairs, there are six bedrooms with king beds, all of which have access to either a Juliet balcony, private balcony or furnished terrace.
From Palazzo Margherita’s location in Bernalda, it’s a 20-minute drive to several white-sand beaches on the Ionian Sea.

San Luis Kitchen Co. A large traditional home gets a large traditional kitchen -- with some twists. A U-shaped counter gives plenty of space for both prep work and clean-up while easily seating six guests. The far wall is home to the cook-top, wall oven/microwave, additional work space/coffee station and a shallow pantry. The wood hood and subway tile splash highlight this essential area.

Llama ArchitectsThis total renovation of this fabulous large country home meant the whole house was taken back to the external walls and roof rafters and all suspended floors dug up. All new Interior layout and two large extensions. 2 months of gutting the property before any building works commenced. This part of the house was in fact an old ballroom and one of the new extensions formed a beautiful new entrance hallway with stunning helical staircase. Our own design handmade and hand painted kitchen with Miele appliances. Painted in a gorgeous soft grey and with a fabulous 3.5 x 1 metre solid wood dovetailed breakfast bar and surround with led lighting. Stunning stone effect large format porcelain tiles which were for the majority of the ground floor, all with under floor heating. Skyframe openings on the ground and first floor giving uninterrupted views of the glorious open countryside. Lutron lighting throughout the whole of the property and Crestron Home Automation. A glass firebox fire was built into this room. for clients ease, giving a secondary heat source, but more for visual effect. 4KTV with plastered in the wall speakers, the wall to the left and right of the TV is only temporary as this will soon be glass entrances and pocket doors with views to the large swimming pool extension with sliding Skyframe opening system. Phase 1 of this 4 phase project with more images to come. The next phase is for the large Swimming Pool Extension, new Garage and Stable Building and sweeping driveway. ArtichokeArtichoke undertook a series of bespoke pieces for the owner of this London town house, including this sleek contemporary bespoke kitchen. The exterior surfaces of the furniture were made from oak; the grain was raked out to create a highly tactile surface. The island exterior was hand-polished lacquer. The worktop stone was made up of bevelled sections so that when assembled it took on the appearance of a much larger piece of stone.
Primary materials: Hand-raked American oak, pigmented lacquer, Everest stone.
