#TipTuesday: Determine what your definition of “enough” is for the items in your closet. For example, how many pairs of shoes are enough? Keep the number of your belongings in check with these closet cleaning tips:
? Anytime you buy something, remove something you already own.
? If an item is missing a button or has a stain, would you buy it today? Then, you’ll know if it’s an item worth repairing or something to discard.
? Place items on hangers backward and as you wear them, place the cleaned items back on the hanger the right way. Once you are due for a purge or cleaning, you’ll be able to see what’s active and what’s not.
