Mid century meets Scandi
A small wood burning stove had been installed by my clients with the thought that this space could be used as an informal cosy seating area. I rather preferred it as a dining area so I suggested the dining table was moved from the lounge into this space and that the couple try it out for a while. Thankfully it worked for them and it freed up the lounge to be used solely for relaxing, playing and entertaining.
The sideboard was a family favourite so it takes pride of place. I love the juxtaposition of cool neat lines such as those in the new grey blinds and the shabby chic aged appearance of the dresser.
