Wimbledon Apartment
Situated opposite Wimbledon’s practice courts, the tennis coach owner tasked us to modernise and refit his 1980’s bathroom and kitchen, plus hand-build wardrobes and a TV storage unit courtesy of our skilled joiners.
The brief was to keep the aesthetic simple, monochrome and ‘without fuss’. We designed and hand built his black kitchen that is offset by living plaster walls, off-white quartz worktops and matt black taps and fittings.
No longer requiring a bath, instead a walk in shower was installed with rain shower and double width glass screen. ‘Poured concrete’ effect walls, using a french plaster mix, contrast perfectly with the Carrara marble bespoke vanity unit and matt black fittings.
