IDEAL. This is about the level of clutter we'd like in the entry hall, with the rest moving into the cloakroom space in utility room. Could we have a bench like this built in that's strong enough to sit on, with space underneath for shoes?

IDEAL. Like everything about this. Very attractive hallway with nice polished concrete flooring. The wooden wall makes the space very warm. I like the covered porch before you go inside too - could be a good look for our entrance, but bearing in mind the roof of the porch might also be part of the upstairs room/s.

This is too grand for us, but has a nice covered walkway up to the front door - we could potentially have the upstairs going over this to form its ceiling, with posts coming down on the side and the garage wall on the other side, with space to stack firewood.
