Zinc is a non-porous metal that gets better with age and can be cleaned with soap and water. It has antibacterial properties similar to copper, a great surface for prepping food, for dining tables and counter tops. Rustic to transitional and even modern; chairs and decor create the look you want. Are the Zinc Tables Clear Coated? No, We use Maguires Gold liquid car wax, applied to seal in the patina. The wax protects the zinc from rings marks. The wax is used as needed. It does not rust, perfect for exterior environments.

There is no lip, just a flat seat panel. Sometimes upholsterers will place a heavy duty Velcro on the bottom of the cushions and the seat panel to avoid sliding, but also give flexibility for removal, cleaning, etc.
