Proportion/Scale
Why I picked this backyard with a pool to represent an appropriate use of Scale because this pool can fit a lot of people. Having a huge pool like this can be appropriate because if people actually want to swim they have the opportunity to do so. My pool for example is pretty tiny and it only takes a few seconds to get to the other side. This pool allows swimming and also for people to do different activities in the same pool at once without it being crowded
Why I picked this living room to represent an appropriate use of scale because the couch is really huge compared to other couches that are put in living rooms. However, its appropriate because the family living in that house usually has a lot of guests or hosts a lot of gathering with a lot of people you want to sit down. This allows a lot of people to have a place to sit
Why I picked this bedroom to represent Human Scale because in the picture there is a very tiny chair. This isn't an average sized chair and almost everyone couldn't be able to sit in it except for maybe a baby. You can see that its very small from looking at the bed next to it and it makes the bed look huge but the chair is actually really small
Why I picked this bedroom to represent Human Scale is because most beds even for a king don't take up a lot of space in a bedroom leaving more things to go in it like a dress, tv space, etc. However, this bedroom is massively big compared to others which allows more people to be able to sleep in it.
Why I picked this formal dining room to represent inappropriate use of Scale because there are four chairs surrounding the table that are good average size for seating but then you have a huge chair on one side that defeats the person of the style and pattern that could of been made if they used all same chairs. There's no need for such a huge chair that is taking up a lot of space that can be used for something else
