like this a lot --- 3 hooks per area; dividers don't come all the way to the front of the bench; under bench drawer and also area on floor for wet/muddy shoes; 4 areas is possibly good (5 would be great) and then an area at end for a coat closet; plus upper storage

maybe in our kitchen space??? same idea - get rid of half wall and do full wall in our space like the shelves for shoes and the open bench area for backpacks etc with upper storage for hats etc

might work in our space if we made a full wall where our half wall is and tiled the flooring some and made some adjustments with what we did???
