Granite is not usually my favorite. However, I found this countertop and it is not like the typical granite countertop. It is almost like marble with the long veins. It would be nice to have this granite since it is pretty and also very strong and easier to take care of.

This limestone with fossil is pretty cool. While going over this material in lab I thought this type of stone was the coolest. I would love to see something like this being used in real life. The seashells we saw in class was so pretty.

What I like about slate is its color range, very earthy tones and the darkness of its color also makes it feel and look elegant. It is very good material for bathrooms and I would love a bathroom with these colors.

Marble adds elegance to anything. I like that the space feels clean and very peaceful. However, taking care of this stone is a lot. Maybe not the best material or practical material to use but it is so pretty that I don't blame people from loving marble.
