These varying hight upper cabinets are nice. Don't like the column detail. The mantel to hide the vent hood is too much. Island with one level counter could work like this. Still need to decide on two levels. Sink would not be in center if we had it in island. Would need to be on an end.

Like the window cabinet doors above the uppers. Kitchen overall is dark Like stove, controls on front, no back panel.

Don't like: No backsplash - Eric. (Jessica ok with no backsplash) Upper cabinets very odd with so many varying nights. Like idea some difference but this is a lot. Spot for microwave but you see it. Like the fold away door to access when needed. Must have cabinet location for appliances. Island looks out of place with that paneling. Do like: Pot filler Counter color with the white cabinets. Undermount sink

Window behind sink idea. built out with sides that can open for airflow without taking up area on the main glass you look out. Wood trim detail below the upper cabinets. Backsplash stands out, not just blended into wall/paint color. Lighter counter color is good with undermount sink.
