Like a lot of things about this space — minimal wall art, offset, clear chair, cabinet attached to wall, glass finish paint, simple white lines of furniture tucked under eaves, color of wood floor with white furnishings. Would love to have an attic or loft space liket this!
This is an interesting room, just not sure which room, or which house...? Any sofa or bedspread can be elevated with a few black-and-white pillows. Add in some monochrome artwork, and you get a sophisticated look every time. A simple 1- to 2-inch black-and-white stripe is the most classic of all, perfect for mixing with other patterns and solids in your choice of accent hues. Black stripe on white or off white curtains.
Or this... Seattle. A second dwelling on a lot, often called a granny or in-law unit, doesn’t have to be gigantic to be functional and inviting, especially when there’s no need for a bathroom or kitchenette. Check your local building regulations to see if approval is required for a simple design like this.
