Hi! This is a hand-laid pebble mosaic floor. I took this photograph in the Chinese Garden at Huntington Gardens in San Marino, California. I have seen some examples of this done in person, many times at historic estates, and in some gardens on Houzz. I would absolutely love to see more of this. It is absolutely breathtaking in reality.
