Bedroom ideas
This mixes masculine (with the ceiling and floor) and cool sophistication (with the walls). A pale ceiling would be a huge change. For me, it would become beachy and wonderful. Color commentary: the orange undertones in the wood are ignorable on the floor but tough to not see on the ceiling. Since these are all low-chroma colors, it works to mix the pink undertones on the bedding with the cool wall color, because all the bedding pulls together - it becomes two colors rather than a clash. All the details: Paint: Comfort Gray by Sherwin-Williams; ceiling: cedar, with 50-50 mix of Minwax Natural and Dark Walnut stains; floor: hickory, with Minwax Dark Walnut stain; rug: Modern Classics (CAN-1907), Candice Olson collection, Surya; windows: Jeld-Wen Siteline; light: Malina drum pendant, Kichler, Ferguson; bed: Flora king bed, Vanguard Furniture, available on Houzz; chair: Staffordshire club chair, Sam Moore
for a cozy space...
Nearly ideal. All the muted colors; the BW photos on the wall, the rug, the poufs... nice layering happening...
