Pull out boot drawers with gloss surface that's easier to clean

Cabinetry opposite benching to stash more boots, not sure if plumbing is useful here

Love this bench with umbrella box and shoe shelf underneath.

Excellent bench if you have the room width

Separate the mudroom/boot room from the laundry and make it a simple entry. It could make for a very filthy entry that requires frequent cleaning but also streamlines the entry points into the home. Using strong hard flooring like natural sealed stone or recycled brick pavers will get character and be lovely and cool in summer.

Glass internal door off boot room style entry

Classic British boot room as the main entry - allows for casual muddy entry separate to the mudroom. Very practical and suits us better than a formal entry with wasted space.

Almost mudroom entry but with decorative inset cabinetry

Combo storage - main entry foyer should be as practical as the mudroom, but less muddy

Fun use of levels to achieve storage - kick shoes or muddy stuff underneath so can be swept out rather than stowing in storage furniture that needs to be cleaned.

Decorative, rustic, fixed cabinetry with limestone (?) tile floors

Generally speaking, it is best to have entry doors be at least 900mm wide for ease of access as well as transporting large items in and out of the home. Photo of a large traditional mudroom in Philadelphia with brick floors, grey walls, a single front door and a white front door. Like style of joinery - but would like to meet ceiling with cornice.
