“The Market Design and Build has just finished a big project for us and we couldn’t be happier. The property is an old converted barn so the challenge was huge. Obviously there were some set backs but the communication in between us (property owners) and The Market was excellent so problems were solved quickly. These guys are not here to screw you over. Before signing the contract they guaranteed us that they wouldn’t leave the project until we were 100% happy.. And they didn’t! We are sure to use The Market again if we need more work done on a property in the future.”

“Alessandra supported us with our kitchen renovation. She spent with us half day at Magnet to design our kitchen, select the materials and the colours. She was very careful and detailed oriented to make sure the kitchen we were getting was exactly what we needed/wished for. Important to note that Alessandra is open find solution for what you need/wish for (different from other architects who wants to put their mark and leave their “stamp” in their designs). She did delivered not a kitchen, but what we called a master piece of art - her careful selection of colour and materials + solutions to corners and panels at the top/at the bottom to hide electrics paid off having her in that work. Everyone who comes to our house or lastly who sees our kitchen from Zoom/Skype or Team spots how beautiful it is (not only beautiful, but for us who uses the kitchen it is entirely functional, easy to clean and all sorted). Thank you Alessandra - you made us very happy and ensured lockdown could be easily managed with our new lovely and super functional (easy to clean) kitchen! Before Alessandra - red kitchen. “Unlike many architects who suggested they could draw up our ideas and designs on CAD, right from the start PWJ took a different approach. Respectfully suggesting we put aside our ideas and plans and instead asked us to explain what was important to us, how we live, who wants to use the different spaces and in effect set out a requirements list for our new/refurbished house. PWJ took on board our wants and needs and used their skill and experience to come up with an initial concept design which incorporated almost all our wishes. Then after a few iterations, discussions and education we settled on a design which met our requirements but was also sympathetic to the existing structure. Three weeks ago we had planning approval with no objections or preconditions. So far the experience has been very positive and I have found Rebecca and Jamie to be both professional and helpful but also straight talking and honest which I have found very useful. I would rate PWJ as 5 star but we are only through the first phase and so I am reserving judgement until the job is complete. So now we move to Building Regs and detailed design ready for going to tender. More later......”

“Model Projects were a delight, from the initial brief with James who immediately took my requirements and turned them into a fantastic design - spot on first time with no amendments necessary. Kathryn then took over on a day to day basis as project manager and I cannot praise her highly enough. Dealing with the local authority, building control, structural engineers and the many contractors was done with calm and determination and I now have my dream space.”

“dwell design began working for us on the extension and refurbishment of our new home after the plan drawing company we had initially been recommended totally let us down. By comparison Anthony and the team were thorough, interested, passionate and knowledgeable with much appreciated attention to detail. I felt that Anthony took the time to understand what it was that we were looking for in our home and tailored the plans to suit what we really needed, coming up with a design that worked for us. The final result is all we had hoped for and more and would not have happened without all the hard work from the dwell team. They have all been a pleasure to work with.”

“Our experience with Go plans has been excellent. They arranged a home visit at very short notice, listened to our suggestions and compiled the initial drawings relatively quickly. They also successfully handled the whole planning permission process for us and provided a very fast and professional response to the requests and changes requested by the planning officer. We would definitely use them again for future work.”

“We were very pleased when Karenna Wilford Architects were recommended to us for our cottage extension and refurbishment. Karenna has been like a breath of fresh air to us. She is reliable, professional and very pleasant to work with. She worked closely with us to give us not only just what we wanted but also made valuable suggestions which proved to be a large benefit to the final scheme. KWA project managed all the building works as we had very specific requirements and wanted to use specialised contractors. They were very efficient and KWA kept us well informed of the impact some of the design decisions would have on our budget! We love our new home and can thoroughly recommend Karenna and her team.”
