“The Market Design and Build has just finished a big project for us and we couldn’t be happier. The property is an old converted barn so the challenge was huge. Obviously there were some set backs but the communication in between us (property owners) and The Market was excellent so problems were solved quickly. These guys are not here to screw you over. Before signing the contract they guaranteed us that they wouldn’t leave the project until we were 100% happy.. And they didn’t! We are sure to use The Market again if we need more work done on a property in the future.”

“Our experience with Go plans has been excellent. They arranged a home visit at very short notice, listened to our suggestions and compiled the initial drawings relatively quickly. They also successfully handled the whole planning permission process for us and provided a very fast and professional response to the requests and changes requested by the planning officer. We would definitely use them again for future work.”

Having taken the project on after we discarded our previous architects, he came in and made many crucial improvements to the project. Then managed the project through to completion really well, liaising with builder and client very effectively and professionally. He has a real passion for what he does and that comes through. “Yihyi has helped our family on a couple of occasions, and both have gone so well that we intend to get her involved in a third project. We can't recommend her highly enough. She helped my brother turn a two bed one bath flat into a three bed two bath flat, creating a great family home from a small space, with flair and care - but without a huge budget. A couple of years later, she has helped me update my loft space and create a living and sleeping space that we absolutely love, and also reworked my bathroom, shower room and small toilet - all of which I love. If you get the chance to hire her - do it!”

“VC Design was recommended to me and I would do the same without hesitation. We contacted Veronica about drawing up plans for our ground floor extension and although conceptually we had a clear idea of what we wanted to she was invaluable in advising us how to best use the space and our options within the parameters of planning. She also contacted previous clients and arranged for us to see the work they had done, this allowed us to see first hand some of the ideas we had discussed. Veronica submitted the planning application and we have now received our approval - a job very well done.”

“James provided architectural services to secure planning permission to extend our house at ground and first floor level, to the side and rear. Being located within a conservation area, visible from the street and on a tight plot, the design needed to be carefully considered, balancing our aspirations and the requirements of the Council. This James secured. Following the grant of permission, James assisted with the commissioning of the contractor, providing detailed working drawings, scope of work and attended on site during the construction phase. We are extremely pleased with the result. The extension is sympathetic to the architecture of the original house but provides a contemporary and spacious addition, which is highly functional as well as being aesthetically pleasing. James provided excellent advice at all stages in a calming manner, which was most welcome at the more challenging stages of the consenting and implementation process.”

“Model Projects were a delight, from the initial brief with James who immediately took my requirements and turned them into a fantastic design - spot on first time with no amendments necessary. Kathryn then took over on a day to day basis as project manager and I cannot praise her highly enough. Dealing with the local authority, building control, structural engineers and the many contractors was done with calm and determination and I now have my dream space.”
